Rambha marriage is on December 27th 2009

South India’s thunder thighs beauty Rambha is all set to settle down in martial bliss as she will be marrying on December 27th, 2009. According to the latest buzz going on in the south Indian cinema industry, the actress will marry Canada based engineer Indran and will be settling for one year in Canada after marriage.

For this reason, the actress has not signed any major project which will feature her as a lead and has also winded off her ongoing projects at a fast pace. Sources however confirm that she will participate in some modeling schedules which will be apart of her contract with a Canadian company which sells bathroom fittings.

The venue for Rambha’s marriage is said to Tirupathi and the marriage ceremony will take place in traditional style with only few of their family member’s presence. But a lavish reception is being planned on December 30th in Chennai.

Meanwhile, sources close to Rambha’s family reveal that the wedding is an arranged one and Rambha is said to be excited about her marriage date. Official statement is still awaited from the family of Rambha.

For Hot and Bikini roles all directors contacting Namitha

Any director who approaches me desire to show Namitha in a bikini or hot scenes though even it’s not mandatory. Now, I want to serve a caution to all, i will try to stop these kind of roles and concentrate on performance oriented roles but anyways i can’t leave glamour. Actor’s suicide is in fact a murder

Actor Kunal, who had acted in telugu films like "Premikula Roju" and in Tamil Punnagai Poove, was found hanging at his flat in Mumbai on February 7th 2008. Initially, it was considered to be a suicide. But the police reopened the case on the court’s directive to investigate the circumstances leading to the death.

The investigation was ordered based on the petition filed by the actor’s father who alleged that Kunal’s body bore marks indicating that he could have been murdered. The police have now arrested Bollywood starlet Lavina Bhatia, who was with Kunal at the time of his mysterious death. Police sources say that Lavina is the main suspect in the case.

Temple for Ileana in Tamilnadu

Everyone knows that Tamil Fans is not like telugu audience, in the past they build the temple for Kushbu, Simran and some planned to build the temple for Namitha. Recently Anushka also got that offer but she rejected for their proposal.

Ileana has acted in just one Tamil film Kedi. Kedi proved to be a disaster at the box office. But, after seeing the Ileana on big screens some people tempted to build a temple in her name. Beautiful Lady Ready For 'B-Films'

She is one of those aspiring north Indian beauties who came into the Telugu circuit to strike it big and made a dream debut of sorts when she paired up with the angry man Rajasekhar. However, things have not gone her way for too long and she started getting into other parts of the southern circuit.

She is none other than the slender Punjabi beauty Gurleen Chopra and right now, she seems to have decided to take a risk. Soon, Gurleen would be seen in a B-grade film and this has been titled ‘Konaseemalo Chittemma-Kittayya’ which is slated to be an entertainer on a village backdrop.

Gurleen would be pairing up with Aalla Rambabu who is said to be a middle aged hero and though this has caused a bit of surprise, many are waiting to see how this decision of Gurleen will shape her career. She is a diva alright. No matter how much she tries to brush off that tag, or put aside her bumpy ride at the box-office, she still remains hot. Nayanthara celebrated her birthday on November 18 in Hyderabad with her close set of friends.

The actress, who was in Hyderabad for the last few days completing the shoot of Adurs with NTR, was upbeat when she spoke birthday bash. “It was a normal day and I had just completed the last day of shoot and was getting back to my hotel when I started getting calls from my close friends, who flew down from Bangalore and Chennai to arrange a small get together at a common friend’s place. I felt so happy and special when they gave me this surprise birthday party.”

After the party that went on till the wee hours of the morning, Nayan, the devoted daughter that she is, took the first flight to Kochi to get the blessings of her parents. As of now, she has two films — a Malayalam film with director Shyamaprasad and a Tamil film opposite Arya. A section of the media had reported that she had stopped signing new films and was refusing to wear glamorous outfits these days. Asked Nayan, “Who says so? I will do glam roles and I am open to good offers as long as the script and other factors are favorable. Last year was too hectic for me and now, I’ve decided to pick and choose good roles.”

She is pinning a lot of hope on her new Tamil film Boss Engira Bhaskaran, produced by leading producer KS Sreenivasan. She plays a pivotal role in the film, which starts in Chennai from (Nov 20). She will join the film’s unit in Kumbakonam from the first week of December. The film is directed by Rajesh who directed this year’s sleeper hit Siva Manasulla Sakthi. Rajesh is a good story-teller and the buzz is that the role is tailor-made for Nayan. Music for the film has been scored by Yuvan Shankar Raja. So, will she follow her arch rivals (Asin & Trisha) to Bollywood? Nayan’s firm reply is, “ I’ve never had any Bollywood dreams. So why I should go chasing it? I’m very happy and content doing south films.”

Kavya Madhavan recently spoke to the media. Says Kavya: “My marriage and life after that was a small portion in my life journey. I have decided to act in films. My next journey has started through the Malayalam film Christian Brothers. I have deiced to compose music for the poems written by me and release it as an album. There is more support for me in the field than before.

Everybody is showering their affection on me. Earlier I was not able to concentrate on other language films. Now I will be concentrating on all language films including Tamil.”

The actress from God’s own country who made her debut in Kollywood with ‘Azhagiya Theeye’ followed by good performance in ‘Maaya Kannadi’ is all set to enter wedlock with Santhosh Menon, a Mumbai based corporate.

It seems that Santhosh had recently visited his home town Changanassery in Kerala and they had a causal meeting. Their parents felt that their horoscopes well matched and then the young lad and missy were gradually getting into lots of liking between them.

The parents have now confirmed to host the marriage without any formal engagement ceremony.

Surya-Jyothika to become mum-dad again

It has been confirmed by the closer sources that Jyothika is pregnant. Though, the couple isn’t willing to reveal this news to media channels, they seemed to have conveyed it indirectly through some source. It’s double Dhamaka for grandfather Siva Kumar as it’s not just Jyothika, but even his daughter Brinda has become pregnant now.

Surya-Jyothika entered into nuptials on September 11, 2006 and was endowed with a beautiful girl child Diya on August 10, 2007.

Why is Bollywood Our Status Symbol?

It has been a common complain of movie industry down south that Bollywood gets all the attention. So led by superstars like Kamal Haasan, the southern industry is now demanding equal status for its cinema.

Says actor Kamal Haasan, "We can’t have a stand off here saying whose fault it is or how sad I feel. If we feel sad we will do something about it. We are trying to be the change we want to see."

Cleary a clash of cinemas at this conclave in Chennai. The Southern industry led by Kamal Haasan is demanding equal status for its cinema the same as Bollywood.

Compared to Bollywood the South churns out double the number of films with as much technical competence. The canvas much more eager to lend itself to contemporary socio-political issues. Yet on the international stage it’s Bollywood which is still considered the brand ambassador of Indian cinema. So the Southern cinema wants more representation in the international and Indian festival and awards circuit.

Says actor Kamal Haasan, "’'We are here to prove that we are all one, there are no parochial borders for entertainment industry. Not even international ones.’’

But on the other hand well-known film maker Yash Chopra is of the view that there is no divide in north and southern cinema. ’'Why divide as north and southern cinema? We are one as Indian cinema,’’ he said.

Bollywood may choose not to acknowledge the inequality but filmmakers say on the ground the North-South divide will take a long time to bridge.

A mega TV serial titled Yathumagi Nindrai is being produced by Media One Global Entertainment Limited. This serial will be telecast from today (November 23rd). The serial will be aired from 7.30 PM on Mondays to Thursdays. Swarnamalya, Neeraja, Srirekha, Kathadi Ramamurthy, Narendra and others are starring in this serial.

In the present society, at times the criminals escape while the innocent are being punished. This forms the basis for this serial. Revathi and Rohini are the creative heads of this serial. The Star Night programme for helping the flood affected people was a great sucess and the Organiser of the programme Nandamuri Balakrishna received an apology letter from Sneha stating that she was suffering from viral fever that day and has not attended the function. Prevoiusly NBK issued notices to sneha and Nayanatara.

Shooting of a female-oriented film was formally launched in Hyderabad recently with puja. Vasudev, a protégé of K Raghavendra Rao, is making debut as a director with this film to be produced by Rambabu on the banner of Sri Jagadiswari Films with Meera Jasmine playing the lead role.

Giving details on the film, the producer said, “We have decided to produce the film with all the commercial elements and with a heavy budget. The regular shooting would begin from January 1 and we will complete the entire film in a single schedule. Meera Jasmine is playing the role of an employee of a private television channel. We will soon announce the details of other artistes and technicians.”

The director said, “It is a 100-year-old story based on a set of incidents that took place in a zamindar’s house, who was an atheist. Meera Jasmine is playing his great grand daughter.”

Shankar, the producer of the film said that they are planning to give a complaint to the police regarding this. Later, the actress responded to the media and said, "I just did that rape scene only because the story needed it. They shot this scene for two days. Nayantharas BODYGUARD to release on December 4th

BODYGUARD which is a movie of actor Dileep and actress Nayantara is complete and is ready to hit the silver screens on December 4th, 2009. The movie has been produced by Johnny Sagariga and is all set to release in 100 screens across the Kerala state.

Earlier, the movie was slated for a December 25th, Christmas release. But now, the movie has been pre-poned and is releasing on December 4th. Christmas has a lot of release this year which includes Mammootty’s ‘Chattambinadu’, Mohanlal’s ‘IVIDE Swargam Aanu’ and so on. So, the movie makers have preponed the movie to this date and are hoping for the best.
The movie is based on a comedy and action subject and has a good entertainment factor in entertaining all section of crowds.

In 2008, she made her debut in Bollywood with the movie “Jaane Tu…Ya Jaane Naa” and had a brief honeymoon after that. Now, recently her life partner film has flopped and she is back and ready to take up Tamil film projects.

She is said to be showing her willingness to act in Tamil films and is ready to feature in a Telugu remake in Tamil opposite to Dhanush. Following her footsteps is actress Asin who is also thinking to make her comeback in Tamil films. She has already shown her willingness in acting opposite to actor Vijay in his 2010 project which will be directed by director Jayam Raja.
